Yattle: Redesigning the User Experience for Young Jobseekers
Objective
Yattle, a Glasgow-based startup, was set out to empower young adults, many without formal education or extensive work experience, to access meaningful job opportunities. The client arrived to us with an MVP that laid the foundation, but the platform needed a complete redesign to deliver a seamless, engaging experience for users while inspiring confidence among investors.
Our mission was to reimagine Yattle’s product: building an application that streamlines the job search journey, improves user trust, and supports the company’s long-term growth.
What we delivered
Within a short timeframe, our team transformed Yattle’s MVP into a polished, investor-ready platform:
- Strategic Discovery & Co-Design Workshops – Collaborated directly with Yattle’s founders and ran focus groups with young adults to gather insights, validate ideas, and co-create solutions.
- User-Centered Redesign – Completely rebuilt the web and mobile experience, ensuring an intuitive, frictionless journey from start to finish.
- Prototyping & UI/UX Design – Designed and iterated prototypes in Figma, with regular client feedback and approvals at every stage.
- Full-Stack Development – A dedicated team of 5–6 developers engineered the full application:
- Frontend: 1–2 developers brought the designs to life, focusing on accessibility and usability.
- Backend: 3–4 developers built robust APIs and technical frameworks to power the app.
- CV Generator Feature – Developed a core tool that lets users instantly create professional résumés from their skills and experience, ready to apply on the spot through the application.
- Design System & Brand Refresh – Built a scalable design system and evolved the color palette to reflect new investor requirements while maintaining brand consistency.

- Segmented Iteration – Broke down the redesign into segments, ensuring clarity and alignment before each development phase.
- Transparent Collaboration – Maintained constant communication with Yattle’s team, explaining decisions and aligning on priorities.
- Adaptive Execution – Flexibly adjusted branding and design elements mid-project in response to investor input, without compromising user experience.
Results
- Seamless Job Search – Delivered a redesigned platform where users can confidently navigate their employment journey.
- Empowered Young Jobseekers – The résumé generator gave users a tangible advantage in applying for jobs, boosting confidence and accessibility.
- Investor Confidence – The refreshed design and brand identity positioned Yattle as a more credible, investment-ready product, contributing to securing new investor support.
- Long-Term Partnership – Yattle continues to work with us on further development, underscoring the trust and collaboration built throughout the project.
