Entrepreneurs in Scotland face a fragmented support ecosystem, with hundreds of organisations, funding bodies, and events that are difficult to navigate. Many founders, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds or rural communities, struggle to find the right opportunities at the right time.

BobbAI, co-founded by Bayile Adeoti and Matthew Kendrick, was created to solve this challenge. Inspired by the loyalty of Greyfriars Bobby, the platform intends to act as a trusted companion, guiding entrepreneurs with clarity and consistency. Its mission is simple: make business support accessible and equitable for everyone, from side hustlers to scaling ventures.

• The platform secured recognition and early-stage funding through CivTech Challenge 10.11, a prestigious Scottish Government accelerator programme. BobbAI successfully pitched its MVP in the early stages, unlocking funding for the prototype build. The next stages of CivTech provided further backing, enabling expansion into a fully functional platform with dashboards, chatbot, and reporting features.
• Entrepreneurs gain simplified access to curated, relevant opportunities, eliminating the need to navigate fragmented networks on their own.
• Governments and ESOs access real-time data to improve decision-making and support, strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Upcoming features, such as industry-specific reports and expanded dashboards, will continue to drive engagement and long-term growth.
