Digitising Local Loyalty for Seamless Customer Rewards
Objective
JustPass, founded by Faheem Abdusathar, set out to modernise how local businesses manage loyalty programmes. The goal was to replace traditional paper stamp cards with digital loyalty passes that customers could store directly in their mobile wallets.
The idea for JustPass emerged from the founder's previous work building wallet pass integrations for e-commerce brands—creating APIs and webhooks to generate digital passes on demand. After repeatedly delivering this as a bespoke service, Faheem recognised an opportunity: rather than rebuilding the same solution for each client, he could productise it into a platform that any business could use independently.
The collaboration with LOOPSIO aimed to transform this concept into a fully automated, self-service platform, enabling instant generation and customisation of digital loyalty cards without any need for coding or manual design work. The long-term vision was to create a contactless loyalty solution that could support not only stamp cards and coupons, but eventually point-based and prepaid programmes as well.

What We Delivered
• Developed a web-based admin portal that allows the founder to onboard new businesses, manage loyalty programmes, and configure digital passes quickly.
• Implemented customisation tools enabling business owners to upload logos, select colours, and design loyalty cards through an intuitive interface.
• Automated the creation and management of digital passes, transforming what was previously a custom integration project into a fast, code-free process.
• Integrated Apple Wallet (PassKit) and Google Wallet, allowing customers to collect and redeem rewards directly from their phones.
• Built a scalable backend using Firebase for event logging and MongoDB for data management, ensuring long-term flexibility and support for future features like analytics and premium plans.
Our Approach
The development process was guided by a rapid build-and-validate approach, focusing on delivering a reliable system that could be tested and improved in real-world conditions.
LOOPSIO worked closely with the founder to draw on his existing experience with wallet pass integrations and translate that technical knowledge into a productised solution. The team designed a self-contained user journey where businesses could independently manage their loyalty programmes. When a customer scanned a QR code to redeem a coupon or collect a stamp, the system automatically updated the internal database, sent notifications to the user's wallet, and reflected the transaction in the business dashboard.
Throughout the 10-week project, LOOPSIO maintained an iterative process, implementing continuous improvements based on feedback while ensuring clear communication and structured project management.

For LOOPSIO, JustPass was both a technical milestone and a collaboration success story. In just ten weeks, the team helped turn a founder's proven service offering into a scalable digital product ready for growth.
The project marked LOOPSIO's first experience integrating Apple and Google Wallet technologies, expanding the company's expertise in contactless systems and real-world commerce solutions.
