Rakshit Jain is the co-founder and Director of Finwise School Ltd, an innovative edtech start-up dedicated to transforming financial literacy into an engaging, gamified journey for students and young adults. Combining a unique background in psychology with a Master's degree in finance from the UK, Rakshit previously taught financial literacy in schools across India, gaining first-hand insight into the limitations of traditional textbook teaching. Driven by this experience, he spearheaded the creation of interactive, simulation-based modules—such as Budget Boss: Gen-Z Edition—to replace dense lectures with dynamic, real-world scenario learning. In addition to his educational vision, he leads the platform’s comprehensive financial modeling, valuation processes, and multi-scenario cash-flow planning, successfully securing critical grants and funding to drive the company’s strategic growth.
Simran Taneja is the co-founder and Director of Finwise School Ltd, where she oversees finance, strategic operations, and corporate partnerships to build a financially empowered generation. Bringing strong operational acumen derived from her prior professional background in private equity and start-ups, Simran perfectly complements the platform's vision by managing its long-term growth frameworks and institutional integration. She is dedicated to making personal finance accessible, enjoyable, and measurable, steering Finwise School as it expands its gamified learning models from direct-to-consumer app experiences into personalized B2B dashboards for schools, universities, and corporate organizations.

Finwise was created to address a fundamental gap in financial education. Traditional approaches often rely on static content and theoretical knowledge, making it difficult for younger audiences to engage with and apply in real life.
The founders envisioned a different approach. A platform where users could learn by doing, making financial decisions in simulated environments and immediately seeing the consequences of their choices.
They approached LOOPSIO with a clear concept and game logic, but needed a full product built from the ground up. The goal was to transform this vision into a smooth, engaging mobile experience that could deliver real educational value while feeling intuitive and enjoyable to use.
LOOPSIO designed and developed a fully functional mobile app available across platforms, turning financial education into an interactive experience.
• Complete mobile application built from scratch for iOS and Android
• Gamified interface designed to engage Gen Z users through interaction rather than passive learning
• Core simulation game where users manage budgets, debt, and financial decisions
• Dynamic game logic that adapts based on user choices and scenarios
The platform moves beyond static content by immersing users in real-life financial situations.
• Scenario-based gameplay reflecting real-world financial decisions
• Systems that track key metrics such as credit score, spending, and financial health
• Interactive progression where users learn through outcomes rather than instructions
• Structured gameplay designed to build behavioural understanding of money management
Given the nature of the product, performance and responsiveness were critical to the user experience.
• Smooth gameplay experience with responsive interactions across devices
• Cross-platform architecture enabling efficient deployment and scalability
• Backend systems supporting real-time updates and user progression
• Integration with app store environments for deployment and accessibility

The project began with a detailed discovery phase, where the team worked closely with the founder to translate game rules and financial logic into a structured product.
Much of the initial information was provided in raw formats, requiring the team to interpret, organise, and define the mechanics before development could begin.
Unlike traditional applications, this project required thinking like a game designer as much as a developer. Every interaction needed to feel smooth, responsive, and intuitive to maintain engagement.
The team focused on ensuring that transitions, inputs, and feedback loops created a seamless experience that encouraged users to continue playing and learning.
The project was delivered over 16 weeks, with 12 weeks focused on building the core application and 4 weeks dedicated to refinement, testing, and performance optimisation.
Continuous iteration ensured that both functionality and experience improved steadily as the product evolved.
• Translating complex financial concepts into engaging and understandable gameplay mechanics
• Interpreting and structuring large amounts of raw data and rules provided by the founder
• Ensuring a smooth and responsive experience expected from a game-based product• Navigating delays in external dependencies such as app store developer account access
• Balancing educational depth with simplicity to maintain user engagement• Adapting development to a product that combined elements of both software and game design
• A fully functional gamified finance application delivered within 16 weeks
• Successful transformation of a concept into a real, usable product available on app stores
• An engaging platform that makes financial education more accessible to younger audiences
• Smooth gameplay experience that supports sustained user interaction
• A scalable foundation for future features, additional scenarios, and expanded learning tools
• A product that redefines how financial literacy can be taught through interaction and experience
Finwise highlights LOOPSIO’s ability to build products that go beyond traditional applications. By combining technical development with an understanding of user behaviour and engagement, the team transformed financial education into an interactive experience.
The result is an application that empowers users to learn by doing, making complex concepts approachable and relevant. Finwise demonstrates how thoughtful product design can turn education into something intuitive, engaging, and impactful.
